¹⁸ At daybreak, Jesus left and went to a deserted place. The crowds went looking for him, and when they came to him, they tried to prevent him from leaving them.

43

But he said to them, "To the other towns also I must proclaim the good news of the kingdom of God, because for this purpose I have been sent."

44

And he was preaching in the synagogues of Judea. ¹⁹

⁹ So what is to be done, brothers? When you assemble, one has a psalm, another an instruction, a revelation, a tongue, or an interpretation. Everything should be done for building up.

27

If anyone speaks in a tongue, let it be two or at most three, and each in turn, and one should interpret.

28

But if there is no interpreter, the person should keep silent in the church and speak to himself and to God.

29

Two or three prophets should speak, and the others discern.
