BIBLE LIGHTS PROMOTIONS

Roma 10:21

Romans
Chapter 8
DESTINY OF GLORY

18
4 I consider that the sufferings of this present time are as nothing compared with the glory to be revealed for us.
19
For creation awaits with eager expectation the revelation of the children of God;
20
for creation was made subject to futility, not of its own accord but because of the one who subjected it, in hope
21
that creation itself would be set free from slavery to corruption and share in the glorious freedom of the children of God.
22
We know that all creation is groaning in labor pains even until now;
23
and not only that, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, we also groan within ourselves as we wait for adoption, the redemption of our bodies.
24
For in hope we were saved. Now hope that sees for itself is not hope. For who hopes for what one sees?
25
But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait with endurance.
26
In the same way, the Spirit too comes to the aid of our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we ought, but the Spirit itself intercedes with inexpressible groanings.
27
And the one who searches hearts knows what is the intention of the Spirit, because it intercedes for the holy ones according to God's will.
28
5 We know that all things work for good for those who love God, 6 who are called according to his purpose.
29
7 For those he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, so that he might be the firstborn among many brothers.
30
And those he predestined he also called; and those he called he also justified; and those he justified he also glorified.

Romans
Chapter 8
GODS INDOMITABLE LOVE IN CHRIST
31
8 What then shall we say to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?
32
He who did not spare his own Son but handed him over for us all, how will he not also give us everything else along with him?
33
Who will bring a charge against God's chosen ones? It is God who acquits us.
34
Who will condemn? It is Christ (Jesus) who died, rather, was raised, who also is at the right hand of God, who indeed intercedes for us.
35
What will separate us from the love of Christ? Will anguish, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or the sword?
36
As it is written: "For your sake we are being slain all the day; we are looked upon as sheep to be slaughtered."
37
No, in all these things we conquer overwhelmingly through him who loved us.
38
For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor present things, 9 nor future things, nor powers,
39
nor height, nor depth, 10 nor any other creature will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans
Chapter 10
RIGHTEOUSNESS BASED ON FAITH

5
3 Moses writes about the righteousness that comes from (the) law, "The one who does these things will live by them."
6
But the righteousness that comes from faith says, "Do not say in your heart, 'Who will go up into heaven?' (that is, to bring Christ down)
7
4 or 'Who will go down into the abyss?' (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead)."
8
But what does it say? "The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart" (that is, the word of faith that we preach),
9
for, if you confess 5 with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
10
For one believes with the heart and so is justified, and one confesses with the mouth and so is saved.
11
For the scripture says, "No one who believes in him will be put to shame."
12
For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; the same Lord is Lord of all, enriching all who call upon him.
13
For "everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved."
14
6 But how can they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how can they believe in him of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone to preach?
15
And how can people preach unless they are sent? As it is written, "How beautiful are the feet of those who bring (the) good news!" 7
16
But not everyone has heeded the good news; for Isaiah says, "Lord, who has believed what was heard from us?"
17
Thus faith comes from what is heard, and what is heard comes through the word of Christ.
18
But I ask, did they not hear? Certainly they did; for "Their voice has gone forth to all the earth, and their words to the ends of the world."
19
But I ask, did not Israel understand? First Moses says: "I will make you jealous of those who are not a nation; with a senseless nation I will make you angry."
20
Then Isaiah speaks boldly and says: "I was found (by) those who were not seeking me; I revealed myself to those who were not asking for me."
21
But regarding Israel he says, "All day long I stretched out my hands to a disobedient and contentious people."

Matthew
Chapter 11
REPROACHES TO UNREPENT TOWNS

20
Then he began to reproach the towns where most of his mighty deeds had been done, since they had not repented.
21
"Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the mighty deeds done in your midst had been done in Tyre and Sidon, 12 they would long ago have repented in sackcloth and ashes.
22
But I tell you, it will be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon on the day of judgment than for you.
23
And as for you, Capernaum: 'Will you be exalted to heaven? You will go down to the netherworld.' 13 For if the mighty deeds done in your midst had been done in Sodom, it would have remained until this day.
24
But I tell you, it will be more tolerable for the land of Sodom on the day of judgment than for you."

Psalms
Chapter 52
THE DECEITFUL TONGE
1
1 For the leader. A maskil of David,
2
when Doeg the Edomite went and told Saul, "David went to the house of Ahimelech."
3
Why do you glory in evil, you scandalous liar? All day long
4
you plot destruction; your tongue is like a sharpened razor, you skillful deceiver.
5
You love evil rather than good, lies rather than honest speech. Selah
6
You love any word that destroys, you deceitful tongue.
7
Now God will strike you down, leave you crushed forever, Pluck you from your tent, uproot you from the land of the living. Selah
8
The righteous will look on with awe; they will jeer and say:
9
"That one did not take God as a refuge, but trusted in great wealth, relied on devious plots."
10
2 But I, like an olive tree in the house of God, trust in God's faithful love forever.
11
I will praise you always for what you have done. I will proclaim before the faithful that your name is good.

Psalms
Chapter 51
THE MISERERE: PRAYER OF REPENTANCE
1
1 For the leader. A psalm of David,
2
when Nathan the prophet came to him after his affair with Bathsheba.
3
Have mercy on me, God, in your goodness; in your abundant compassion blot out my offense.
4
Wash away all my guilt; from my sin cleanse me.
5
For I know my offense; my sin is always before me.
6
Against you alone have I sinned; I have done such evil in your sight That you are just in your sentence, blameless when you condemn.
7
2 True, I was born guilty, a sinner, even as my mother conceived me.
8
Still, you insist on sincerity of heart; in my inmost being teach me wisdom.
9
3 Cleanse me with hyssop, that I may be pure; wash me, make me whiter than snow.
10
Let me hear sounds of joy and gladness; let the bones you have crushed rejoice.
11
Turn away your face from my sins; blot out all my guilt.
12
A clean heart create for me, God; renew in me a steadfast spirit.
13
Do not drive me from your presence, nor take from me your holy spirit.
14
Restore my joy in your salvation; sustain in me a willing spirit.
15
I will teach the wicked your ways, that sinners may return to you.
16
Rescue me from death, God, my saving God, that my tongue may praise your healing power.
17
Lord, open my lips; my mouth will proclaim your praise.
18
4 For you do not desire sacrifice; a burnt offering you would not accept.
19
My sacrifice, God, is a broken spirit; God, do not spurn a broken, humbled heart.
20
5 Make Zion prosper in your good pleasure; rebuild the walls of Jerusalem.
21
Then you will be pleased with proper sacrifice, burnt offerings and holocausts; then bullocks will be offered on your altar.

Psalms
Chapter 54
CONFIDENT PRAYER IN GREAT PERIL
1
1 For the leader. On stringed instruments. A maskil of David,
2
when the Ziphites came and said to Saul, "David is hiding among us."
3
2 O God, by your name save me. By your strength defend my cause.
4
O God, hear my prayer. Listen to the words of my mouth.
5
The arrogant have risen against me; the ruthless seek my life; they do not keep God before them. Selah
6
God is present as my helper; the Lord sustains my life.
7
Turn back the evil upon my foes; in your faithfulness, destroy them.
8
Then I will offer you generous sacrifice and praise your gracious name, LORD,
9
Because it has rescued me from every trouble, and my eyes look down on my foes.

FOR OUR SPIRITUAL BELIEF IN LIFE

EFESO 4:17-18  5:15-17 HEBREWS 4"7
