"Ang sinumang itakdang mabihag ay mabibihag nga; ang matakdang sa tabak mamamatay ay sa tabak mamamatay.  Kaya't kailangang magpakatatag at manalig ang mga hinirang ng Diyos" Revelations 13:10

Revelation
Chapter 6:1-17
The First Six Seals

1 Then I watched while the Lamb broke open the first of the seven seals, and I heard one of the four living creatures cry out in a voice like thunder, “Come forward.”

2I looked, and there was a white horse, and its rider had a bow. He was given a crown, and he rode forth victorious to further his victories.

3When he broke open the second seal, I heard the second living creature cry out, “Come forward.”

4 Another horse came out, a red one. Its rider was given power to take peace away from the earth, so that people would slaughter one another. And he was given a huge sword.

5When he broke open the third seal, I heard the third living creature cry out, “Come forward.” I looked, and there was a black horse, and its rider held a scale in his hand.

6I heard what seemed to be a voice in the midst of the four living creatures. It said, “A ration of wheat costs a day’s pay, and three rations of barley cost a day’s pay. But do not damage the olive oil or the wine.”

7When he broke open the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature cry out, “Come forward.”

8I looked, and there was a pale green horse. Its rider was named Death, and Hades accompanied him. They were given authority over a quarter of the earth, to kill with sword, famine, and plague, and by means of the beasts of the earth.

9When he broke open the fifth seal, I saw underneath the altar the souls of those who had been slaughtered because of the witness they bore to the word of God.

10They cried out in a loud voice, “How long will it be, holy and true master, before you sit in judgment and avenge our blood on the inhabitants of the earth?”

11Each of them was given a white robe, and they were told to be patient a little while longer until the number was filled of their fellow servants and brothers who were going to be killed as they had been.

12 Then I watched while he broke open the sixth seal, and there was a great earthquake; the sun turned as black as dark sackcloth and the whole moon became like blood.

13The stars in the sky fell to the earth like unripe figs shaken loose from the tree in a strong wind. 14Then the sky was divided like a torn scroll curling up, and every mountain and island was moved from its place.

15The kings of the earth, the nobles, the military officers, the rich, the powerful, and every slave and free person hid themselves in caves and among mountain crags.

16They cried out to the mountains and the rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of the one who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb,

17because the great day of their wrath has come and who can withstand it?”

Revelation
Chapter 13:1-10
The First Beast

1Then I saw a beast come out of the sea with ten horns and seven heads; on its horns were ten diadems, and on its heads blasphemous name[s].

2The beast I saw was like a leopard, but it had feet like a bear’s, and its mouth was like the mouth of a lion. To it the dragon gave its own power and throne, along with great authority.

3I saw that one of its heads seemed to have been mortally wounded, but this mortal wound was healed. Fascinated, the whole world followed after the beast.

4They worshiped the dragon because it gave its authority to the beast; they also worshiped the beast* and said, “Who can compare with the beast or who can fight against it?”

5 The beast was given a mouth uttering proud boasts and blasphemies, and it was given authority to act for forty-two months.

6It opened its mouth to utter blasphemies against God, blaspheming his name and his dwelling and those who dwell in heaven.

7It was also allowed to wage war against the holy ones and conquer them, and it was granted authority over every tribe, people, tongue, and nation.

8All the inhabitants of the earth will worship it, all whose names were not written from the foundation of the world in the book of life, which belongs to the Lamb who was slain.

9Whoever has ears ought to hear these words.

10Anyone destined for captivity goes into captivity.

Anyone destined to be slain by the sword shall be slain by the sword.
Such is the faithful endurance of the holy ones.

Matthew
Chapter 9:9-13

 The Call of Matthew
9As Jesus passed on from there, he saw a man named Matthew sitting at the customs post. He said to him, “Follow me.” And he got up and followed him.

10While he was at table in his house, many tax collectors and sinners came and sat with Jesus and his disciples.

11The Pharisees saw this and said to his disciples, “Why does your teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?”

12He heard this and said, “Those who are well do not need a physician, but the sick do.

13Go and learn the meaning of the words, ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice.’ I did not come to call the righteous but sinners.”

Matthew
Chapter 7:12
The Golden Rule.

12 “Do to others whatever you would have them do to you. This is the law and the prophets.

Matthew
Chapter 5
The Beatitudes

3“Blessed are the poor in spirit,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

4 Blessed are they who mourn,
for they will be comforted.

5 Blessed are the meek,
for they will inherit the land.

6Blessed are they who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
for they will be satisfied.

7Blessed are the merciful,
for they will be shown mercy.

8 Blessed are the clean of heart,
for they will see God.

9Blessed are the peacemakers,
for they will be called children of God.

10Blessed are they who are persecuted for the sake of righteousness,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

11Blessed are you when they insult you and persecute you and utter every kind of evil against you [falsely] because of me.

12 Rejoice and be glad, for your reward will be great in heaven. Thus they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

Romans
Chapter 10:5-21
Salvation is for all
5 Moses writes about the righteousness that comes from [the] law, “The one who does these things will live by them.”

6But the righteousness that comes from faith says, “Do not say in your heart, ‘Who will go up into heaven?’ (that is, to bring Christ down)

7 or ‘Who will go down into the abyss?’ (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead).”

8But what does it say?
“The word is near you,
in your mouth and in your heart”
(that is, the word of faith that we preach),

9for, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

10For one believes with the heart and so is justified, and one confesses with the mouth and so is saved. 11For the scripture says, “No one who believes in him will be put to shame.”

12For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; the same Lord is Lord of all, enriching all who call upon him.

13For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

14 But how can they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how can they believe in him of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone to preach?

15And how can people preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring [the] good news!”

16But not everyone has heeded the good news; for Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed what was heard from us?”

17Thus faith comes from what is heard, and what is heard comes through the word of Christ.

18But I ask, did they not hear? Certainly they did; for
“Their voice has gone forth to all the earth,
and their words to the ends of the world.”

19But I ask, did not Israel understand? First Moses says:
“I will make you jealous of those who are not a nation;
with a senseless nation I will make you angry.”

20 Then Isaiah speaks boldly and says:
“I was found [by] those who were not seeking me;
I revealed myself to those who were not asking for me.”

21But regarding Israel he says, “All day long I stretched out my hands to a disobedient and contentious people.”

John
Chapter 1:35-51
The First Disciples

35The next day John was there again with two of his disciples,

36and as he watched Jesus walk by, he said, “Behold, the Lamb of God.”

37The two disciples heard what he said and followed Jesus.

38Jesus turned and saw them following him and said to them, “What are you looking for?” They said to him, “Rabbi” (which translated means Teacher), “where are you staying?”

39He said to them, “Come, and you will see.” So they went and saw where he was staying, and they stayed with him that day. It was about four in the afternoon.

40Andrew, the brother of Simon Peter, was one of the two who heard John and followed Jesus.

41He first found his own brother Simon and told him, “We have found the Messiah” (which is translated Anointed).

42Then he brought him to Jesus. Jesus looked at him and said, “You are Simon the son of John; you will be called Cephas” (which is translated Peter).

43The next day he decided to go to Galilee, and he found Philip. And Jesus said to him, “Follow me.

44Now Philip was from Bethsaida, the town of Andrew and Peter.

45Philip found Nathanael and told him, “We have found the one about whom Moses wrote in the law, and also the prophets, Jesus, son of Joseph, from Nazareth.”

46But Nathanael said to him, “Can anything good come from Nazareth?” Philip said to him, “Come and see.”

47Jesus saw Nathanael coming toward him and said of him, “Here is a true Israelite. There is no duplicity in him.”

48  Nathanael said to him, “How do you know me?” Jesus answered and said to him, “Before Philip called you, I saw you under the fig tree.”

49Nathanael answered him, “Rabbi, you are the Son of God; you are the King of Israel.”

50Jesus answered and said to him, “Do you believe because I told you that I saw you under the fig tree? You will see greater things than this.”

51And he said to him, “Amen, amen, I say to you, you will see the sky opened and the angels of God ascending and descending on the Son of Man.”

THE WISDOM BOOKS AND EVANGELIZATIONS

Isaiah

Chapter 10:1-4

Perversion of Justice
Social Injustice

1 Ah! Those who enact unjust statutes,
who write oppressive decrees,

2Depriving the needy of judgment,
robbing my people’s poor of justice,
Making widows their plunder,
and orphans their prey!

3What will you do on the day of punishment,
when the storm comes from afar?
To whom will you flee for help?
Where will you leave your wealth,

4Lest it sink beneath the captive
or fall beneath the slain?
For all this, his wrath is not turned back,
his hand is still outstretched!

Sirach
Chapter 18:1-14
The Divine Power and Mercy

1He who lives forever created the whole universe;

2the LORD alone is just.

4To whom has he given power to describe his works,
and who can search out his mighty deeds?

5Who can measure his majestic power,
or fully recount his mercies?

6No one can lessen, increase,
or fathom the wonders of the Lord.

7When mortals finish, they are only beginning,
and when they stop they are still bewildered.

8What are mortals? What are they worth?
What is good in them, and what is evil?

9The number of their days seems great
if it reaches a hundred years.

10Like a drop of water from the sea and a grain of sand,
so are these few years among the days of eternity.

11That is why the Lord is patient with them
and pours out his mercy on them.

12He sees and understands that their death is wretched,
and so he forgives them all the more.

13Their compassion is for their neighbor,
but the Lord’s compassion reaches all flesh,
Reproving, admonishing, teaching,
and turning them back, as a shepherd his flock.

14He has compassion on those who accept his discipline,
who are eager for his precepts.

EFESO 4:17-18  5:15-17 HEBREWS 4"7
