BIBLE LIGHTS PROMOTIONS

"nagsasalita ako sapagkat akoy sumasampalataya"
2corinthians 4:13
"ginigipit kami sa magkabikabila ngunit di nagagapi; kung minsan naaalinlangan ngunit di nawawalan ng pagasa; pinauusig kami ngunit di nawawalan ng kaibigan; naibubuwal ngunit di tuluyang nalulugmok "
2corinthians 4:8-9

2 Corinthians
Chapter 4
INTEGRITY IN THE MINISTRY
1
1 Therefore, since we have this ministry through the mercy shown us, we are not discouraged.
2
Rather, we have renounced shameful, hidden things; not acting deceitfully or falsifying the word of God, but by the open declaration of the truth we commend ourselves to everyone's conscience in the sight of God.
3
And even though our gospel is veiled, 2 it is veiled for those who are perishing,
4
in whose case the god of this age has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, so that they may not see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.
5
For we do not preach ourselves 3 but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your slaves for the sake of Jesus.
6
4 For God who said, "Let light shine out of darkness," has shone in our hearts to bring to light the knowledge of the glory of God on the face of (Jesus) Christ.
7
5 6 But we hold this treasure in earthen vessels, that the surpassing power may be of God and not from us.
8
7 We are afflicted in every way, but not constrained; perplexed, but not driven to despair;
9
persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed;
10
8 always carrying about in the body the dying of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be manifested in our body.
11
For we who live are constantly being given up to death for the sake of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may be manifested in our mortal flesh.
12
9 So death is at work in us, but life in you.
13
10 Since, then, we have the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, "I believed, therefore I spoke," we too believe and therefore speak,
14
knowing that the one who raised the Lord Jesus will raise us also with Jesus and place us with you in his presence.
15
Everything indeed is for you, so that the grace bestowed in abundance on more and more people may cause the thanksgiving to overflow for the glory of God.
16
11 12 Therefore, we are not discouraged; rather, although our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day.
17
For this momentary light affliction is producing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison,
18
as we look not to what is seen but to what is unseen; for what is seen is transitory, but what is unseen is eternal.

2 Corinthians
Chapter 6
THE EXPERIENCE OF MINISTRY
1
1 2 Working together, then, we appeal to you not to receive the grace of God in vain.
2
For he says: "In an acceptable time 3 I heard you, and on the day of salvation I helped you." Behold, now is a very acceptable time; behold, now is the day of salvation.
3
We cause no one to stumble 4 in anything, in order that no fault may be found with our ministry;
4
5 6 on the contrary, in everything we commend ourselves as ministers of God, through much endurance, in afflictions, hardships, constraints,
5
beatings, imprisonments, riots, labors, vigils, fasts;
6
7 by purity, knowledge, patience, kindness, in a holy spirit, in unfeigned love,
7
in truthful speech, in the power of God; with weapons of righteousness at the right and at the left;
8
through glory and dishonor, insult and praise. We are treated as deceivers and yet are truthful; 8
9
as unrecognized and yet acknowledged; as dying and behold we live; as chastised and yet not put to death;
10
as sorrowful yet always rejoicing; as poor yet enriching many; as having nothing and yet possessing all things.
11
9 We have spoken frankly to you, Corinthians; our heart is open wide.
12
You are not constrained by us; you are constrained by your own affections.
13
As recompense in kind (I speak as to my children), be open yourselves.
Luke
Chapter 4

THE REJECTION AT NAZARETH

16
7 He came to Nazareth, where he had grown up, and went according to his custom 8 into the synagogue on the sabbath day. He stood up to read
17
and was handed a scroll of the prophet Isaiah. He unrolled the scroll and found the passage where it was written:
18
"The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, 9 because he has anointed me to bring glad tidings to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim liberty to captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to let the oppressed go free,
19
and to proclaim a year acceptable to the Lord."
20
Rolling up the scroll, he handed it back to the attendant and sat down, and the eyes of all in the synagogue looked intently at him.
21
He said to them, "Today this scripture passage is fulfilled in your hearing." 10
22
And all spoke highly of him and were amazed at the gracious words that came from his mouth. They also asked, "Isn't this the son of Joseph?"
23
He said to them, "Surely you will quote me this proverb, 'Physician, cure yourself,' and say, 'Do here in your native place the things that we heard were done in Capernaum.'" 11
24
And he said, "Amen, I say to you, no prophet is accepted in his own native place.
25
12 Indeed, I tell you, there were many widows in Israel in the days of Elijah when the sky was closed for three and a half years and a severe famine spread over the entire land.
26
13 It was to none of these that Elijah was sent, but only to a widow in Zarephath in the land of Sidon.
27
Again, there were many lepers in Israel during the time of Elisha the prophet; yet not one of them was cleansed, but only Naaman the Syrian."
28
When the people in the synagogue heard this, they were all filled with fury.
29
They rose up, drove him out of the town, and led him to the brow of the hill on which their town had been built, to hurl him down headlong.
30
But he passed through the midst of them and went away.

Matthew
Chapter 25

THE JUDGEMENT OF THE NATIONS

31
14 "When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit upon his glorious throne,
32
and all the nations 15 will be assembled before him. And he will separate them one from another, as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats.
33
He will place the sheep on his right and the goats on his left.
34
Then the king will say to those on his right, 'Come, you who are blessed by my Father. Inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.
35
For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, a stranger and you welcomed me,
36
naked and you clothed me, ill and you cared for me, in prison and you visited me.'
37
Then the righteous 16 will answer him and say, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink?
38
When did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you?
39
When did we see you ill or in prison, and visit you?'
40
And the king will say to them in reply, 'Amen, I say to you, whatever you did for one of these least brothers of mine, you did for me.'
41
17 Then he will say to those on his left, 'Depart from me, you accursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels.
42
For I was hungry and you gave me no food, I was thirsty and you gave me no drink,
43
a stranger and you gave me no welcome, naked and you gave me no clothing, ill and in prison, and you did not care for me.'
44
18 Then they will answer and say, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or ill or in prison, and not minister to your needs?'
45
He will answer them, 'Amen, I say to you, what you did not do for one of these least ones, you did not do for me.'
46
And these will go off to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life."

THE WISDOM BOOKS AND EVANGELIZATIONS

Job
Chapter 33

4
For the spirit of God has made me, the breath of the Almighty keeps me alive.

Psalms
Chapter 1
TRUE HAPPINESS IN GODS LAW
1
1 2 Happy those who do not follow the counsel of the wicked, Nor go the way of sinners, nor sit in company with scoffers.
2
3 Rather, the law of the LORD is their joy; God's law they study day and night.
3
They are like a tree planted near streams of water, that yields its fruit in season; Its leaves never wither; whatever they do prospers.
4
4 But not the wicked! They are like chaff driven by the wind.
5
Therefore the wicked will not survive judgment, nor will sinners in the assembly of the just.
6
The LORD watches over the way of the just, but the way of the wicked leads to ruin.

FOR OUR SPIRITUAL BELIEF IN LIFE
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

EFESO 4:17-18  5:15-17 HEBREWS 4"7
