Luke
Chapter 6

SERMON OF THE PLAIN

20
10 11 And raising his eyes toward his disciples he said: "Blessed are you who are poor, for the kingdom of God is yours.
21
Blessed are you who are now hungry, for you will be satisfied. Blessed are you who are now weeping, for you will laugh.
22
Blessed are you when people hate you, and when they exclude and insult you, and denounce your name as evil on account of the Son of Man.
23
Rejoice and leap for joy on that day! Behold, your reward will be great in heaven. For their ancestors treated the prophets in the same way.
24
But woe to you who are rich, for you have received your consolation.
25
But woe to you who are filled now, for you will be hungry. Woe to you who laugh now, for you will grieve and weep.
26
Woe to you when all speak well of you, for their ancestors treated the false prophets in this way.

Luke
Chapter 6
LOVE OF ENEMIES
27
12 "But to you who hear I say, love your enemies, do good to those who hate you,
28
bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you.
29
To the person who strikes you on one cheek, offer the other one as well, and from the person who takes your cloak, do not withhold even your tunic.
30
Give to everyone who asks of you, and from the one who takes what is yours do not demand it back.
31
Do to others as you would have them do to you.
32
For if you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners love those who love them.
33
And if you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners do the same.
34
If you lend money to those from whom you expect repayment, what credit (is) that to you? Even sinners lend to sinners, and get back the same amount.
35
But rather, love your enemies and do good to them, and lend expecting nothing back; then your reward will be great and you will be children of the Most High, for he himself is kind to the ungrateful and the wicked.
36
Be merciful, just as (also) your Father is merciful.

Luke
Chapter 12
COURAGE UNDER PERSECUTIONS
MGA DAPAT KATAKUTAN

4
I tell you, my friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body but after that can do no more.
5
I shall show you whom to fear. Be afraid of the one who after killing has the power to cast into Gehenna; 3 yes, I tell you, be afraid of that one.
6
Are not five sparrows sold for two small coins? 4 Yet not one of them has escaped the notice of God.
7
Even the hairs of your head have all been counted. Do not be afraid. You are worth more than many sparrows.

Luke
Chapter 21
THE LESSON OF THE FIG TREE
29
He taught them a lesson. "Consider the fig tree and all the other trees.
30
When their buds burst open, you see for yourselves and know that summer is now near;
31
in the same way, when you see these things happening, know that the kingdom of God is near.
32
Amen, I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all these things have taken place.
33
Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.
34
"Beware that your hearts do not become drowsy from carousing and drunkenness and the anxieties of daily life, and that day catch you by surprise
35
like a trap. For that day will assault everyone who lives on the face of the earth.
36
Be vigilant at all times and pray that you have the strength to escape the tribulations that are imminent and to stand before the Son of Man."
37
During the day, Jesus was teaching in the temple area, but at night he would leave and stay at the place called the Mount of Olives.
38
And all the people would get up early each morning to listen to him in the temple area.

Luke
Chapter 22
THE AGONY IN THE GARDEN
PRAYER OF JESUS CHRIST
39
Then going out he went, as was his custom, to the Mount of Olives, and the disciples followed him.
40
When he arrived at the place he said to them, "Pray that you may not undergo the test."
41
After withdrawing about a stone's throw from them and kneeling, he prayed,
42
saying, "Father, if you are willing, take this cup away from me; still, not my will but yours be done."
43
14 (And to strengthen him an angel from heaven appeared to him.
44
He was in such agony and he prayed so fervently that his sweat became like drops of blood falling on the ground.)
45
When he rose from prayer and returned to his disciples, he found them sleeping from grief.
46
He said to them, "Why are you sleeping? Get up and pray that you may not undergo the test."

Romans
Chapter 16
AGAINST FACTIONS
ADDITIONAL COUNSEL / APPEAL

17
7 I urge you, brothers, to watch out for those who create dissensions and obstacles, in opposition to the teaching that you learned; avoid them.
18
For such people do not serve our Lord Christ but their own appetites, and by fair and flattering speech they deceive the hearts of the innocent.
19
For while your obedience is known to all, so that I rejoice over you, I want you to be wise as to what is good, and simple as to what is evil;
20
then the God of peace will quickly crush Satan 8 under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus be with you.
21
Timothy, my co-worker, greets you; so do Lucius and Jason and Sosipater, my relatives.
22
I, Tertius, the writer of this letter, greet you in the Lord.
23
Gaius, who is host to me and to the whole church, greets you. Erastus, 9 the city treasurer, and our brother Quartus greet you.
24
) 10 (
25
11 Now to him who can strengthen you, according to my gospel and the proclamation of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery kept secret for long ages 12
26
but now manifested through the prophetic writings and, according to the command of the eternal God, made known to all nations to bring about the obedience of faith,
27
to the only wise God, through Jesus Christ be glory forever and ever. Amen.)

2 Corinthians
Chapter 13
FINAL WARNINGS AND APPEAL

1
This third time I am coming 1 to you. "On the testimony of two or three witnesses a fact shall be established."
2
I warned those who sinned earlier 2 and all the others, and I warn them now while absent, as I did when present on my second visit, that if I come again I will not be lenient,
3
3 since you are looking for proof of Christ speaking in me. He is not weak toward you but powerful in you.
4
For indeed he was crucified out of weakness, but he lives by the power of God. So also we are weak in him, but toward you we shall live with him by the power of God.
5
4 Examine yourselves to see whether you are living in faith. Test yourselves. Do you not realize that Jesus Christ is in you?--unless, of course, you fail the test.
6
I hope you will discover that we have not failed.
7
But we pray to God that you may not do evil, not that we may appear to have passed the test but that you may do what is right, even though we may seem to have failed.
8
For we cannot do anything against the truth, but only for the truth.
9
For we rejoice when we are weak but you are strong. What we pray for is your improvement.
10
5 I am writing this while I am away, so that when I come I may not have to be severe in virtue of the authority that the Lord has given me to build up and not to tear down.
11
6 Finally, brothers, rejoice. Mend your ways, encourage one another, agree with one another, live in peace, and the God of love and peace will be with you.
12
Greet one another with a holy kiss. All the holy ones greet you.
13
The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the holy Spirit be with all of you.

Psalms
Chapter 119
A Prayer to God the Lawgiver
1
1 Happy those whose way is blameless, who walk by the teaching of the LORD.
2
Happy those who observe God's decrees, who seek the LORD with all their heart.
3
They do no wrong; they walk in God's ways.
4
You have given them the command to keep your precepts with care.
5
May my ways be firm in the observance of your laws!
6
Then I will not be ashamed to ponder all your commands.
7
I will praise you with sincere heart as I study your just edicts.
8
I will keep your laws; do not leave me all alone.

FOR OUR SPIRITUAL BELIEF IN LIFE

EFESO 4:17-18  5:15-17 HEBREWS 4"7
HEBREWS 4:7
"KAPAG NARINING NINYO ANG TINIG NG DIYOS, HUWAG MAGING MATIGAS ANG INYONG ULO."
