TEACHING OF GOSPELTEACHING OF FAITH
SPIRITUAL SALVATION'S
MESSAGE OF GOD
"GOVERN AND UNITE HELP EACH
OTHER SPECIALLY THE POOR"

Santiago 1:9

Luke
Chapter 6
SERMON ON THE PLAINS

20 Then fixing his eyes on his disciples he said: How blessed are you who are poor: the kingdom of God is yours.

21 Blessed are you who are hungry now: you shall have your fill. Blessed are you who are weeping now: you shall laugh.

22 'Blessed are you when people hate you, drive you out, abuse you, denounce your name as criminal, on account of the Son of man.

23 Rejoice when that day comes and dance for joy, look!-your reward will be great in heaven. This was the way their ancestors treated the prophets.

24 But alas for you who are rich: you are having your consolation now.

25 Alas for you who have plenty to eat now: you shall go hungry. Alas for you who are laughing now: you shall mourn and weep.

26 'Alas for you when everyone speaks well of you! This was the way their ancestors treated the false prophets.

Ephesians

Chapter 1
THE CHURCH AS CHRIST BODY

15 That is why I, having once heard about your faith in the Lord Jesus, and your love for all God's holy people,

16 have never failed to thank God for you and to remember you in my prayers.

17 May the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, give you a spirit of wisdom and perception of what is revealed, to bring you to full knowledge of him.

18 May he enlighten the eyes of your mind so that you can see what hope his call holds for you, how rich is the glory of the heritage he offers among his holy people,

19 and how extraordinarily great is the power that he has exercised for us believers; this accords with the strength of his power

20 at work in Christ, the power which he exercised in raising him from the dead and enthroning him at his right hand, in heaven,

21 far above every principality, ruling force, power or sovereignty, or any other name that can be named, not only in this age but also in the age to come.

22 He has put all things under his feet, and made him, as he is above all things, the head of the Church;

23 which is his Body, the fullness of him who is filled, all in all.

Philippians
Chapter 4
LIVE IN CONCORD

1 So then, my brothers and dear friends whom I miss so much, my joy and my crown, hold firm in the Lord, dear friends.
  2 I urge Euodia, and I urge Syntyche to come to agreement with each other in the Lord;

3 and I ask you, Syzygus, really to be a 'partner' and help them. These women have struggled hard for the gospel with me, along with Clement and all my other fellow-workers, whose names are written in the book of life.

4 Always be joyful, then, in the Lord; I repeat, be joyful.

5 Let your good sense be obvious to everybody. The Lord is near.

6 Never worry about anything; but tell God all your desires of every kind in prayer and petition shot through with gratitude,

7 and the peace of God which is beyond our understanding will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.

8 Finally, brothers, let your minds be filled with everything that is true, everything that is honourable, everything that is upright and pure, everything that we love and admire -- with whatever is good and praiseworthy.

9 Keep doing everything you learnt from me and were told by me and have heard or seen me doing. Then the God of peace will be with you.

1 Thessalonians
Chapter 4
GENERAL EXHORTATIONS

1 Finally, brothers, we urge you and appeal to you in the Lord Jesus; we instructed you how to live in the way that pleases God, and you are so living; but make more progress still.
  2 You are well aware of the instructions we gave you on the authority of the Lord Jesus.

3 God wills you all to be holy. He wants you to keep away from sexual immorality,

4 and each one of you to know how to control his body in a way that is holy and honourable,

5 not giving way to selfish lust like the nations who do not acknowledge God.

6 He wants nobody at all ever to sin by taking advantage of a brother in these matters; the Lord always pays back sins of that sort, as we told you before emphatically.

7 God called us to be holy, not to be immoral;

8 in other words, anyone who rejects this is rejecting not human authority, but God, who gives you his Holy Spirit.

9 As for brotherly love, there is no need to write to you about that, since you have yourselves learnt from God to love one another,
10 and in fact this is how you treat all the brothers throughout the whole of Macedonia. However, we do urge you, brothers, to go on making even greater progress

11 and to make a point of living quietly, attending to your own business and earning your living, just as we told you to,

12 so that you may earn the respect of outsiders and not be dependent on anyone.

James
Chapter 5
WARNING TO THE RICH

1 Well now, you rich! Lament, weep for the miseries that are coming to you.

2 Your wealth is rotting, your clothes are all moth-eaten.

3 All your gold and your silver are corroding away, and the same corrosion will be a witness  against you and eat into your body. It is like a fire which you have stored up for the final days.

4 Can you hear crying out against you the wages which you kept back from the labourers mowing your fields? The cries of the reapers have reached the ears of the Lord Sabaoth.

5 On earth you have had a life of comfort and luxury; in the time of slaughter you went on eating to your heart's content.

2 Corinthians
Chapter 8
GENEROSITY IN GIVING

1 Next, brothers, we will tell you of the grace of God which has been granted to the churches of Macedonia,

2 and how, throughout continual ordeals of hardship, their unfailing joy and their intense poverty have overflowed in a wealth of generosity on their part.

3 I can testify that it was of their own accord that they made their gift, which was not merely as far as their resources would allow, but well beyond their resources;

4 and they had kept imploring us most insistently for the privilege of a share in the fellowship of service to God's holy people

5 it was not something that we expected of them, but it began by their offering themselves to the Lord and to us at the prompting of the will of God.

6 In the end we urged Titus, since he had already made a beginning, also to bring this work of generosity to completion among you.

7 More, as you are rich in everything-faith, eloquence, understanding, concern for everything, and love for us too -- then make sure that you excel in this work of generosity too.

8 I am not saying this as an order, but testing the genuineness of your love against the concern of others.

9 You are well aware of the generosity which our Lord Jesus Christ had, that, although he was rich, he became poor for your sake, so that you should become rich through his poverty.

10 I will give you my considered opinion in the matter; this will be the right course for you as you were the first, a year ago, not only to take any action but also even to conceive the project.

11 Now, then, complete the action as well, so that the fulfilment may -- so far as your resources permit -- be proportionate to your enthusiasm for the project.

12 As long as the enthusiasm is there, the basis on which it is acceptable is what someone has, not what someone does not have.

13 It is not that you ought to relieve other people's needs and leave yourselves in hardship; but there should be a fair balance-

14 your surplus at present may fill their deficit, and another time their surplus may fill your deficit. So there may be a fair balance;

15 as scripture says: No one who had collected more had too much, no one who collected less had too little.

Luke
Chapter 12
SAYINGS AGAINST GREED

13 A man in the crowd said to him, 'Master, tell my brother to give me a share of our inheritance.'

14 He said to him, 'My friend, who appointed me your judge, or the arbitrator of your claims?'

15 Then he said to them, 'Watch, and be on your guard against avarice of any kind, for life does not consist in possessions, even when someone has more than he needs.'

16 Then he told them a parable, 'There was once a rich man who, having had a good harvest from his land,

17 thought to himself, "What am I to do? I have not enough room to store my crops."

18 Then he said, "This is what I will do: I will pull down my barns and build bigger ones, and store all my grain and my goods in them,

19 and I will say to my soul: My soul, you have plenty of good things laid by for many years to come; take things easy, eat, drink, have a good time."

20 But God said to him, "Fool! This very night the demand will be made for your soul; and this hoard of yours, whose will it be then?"

21 So it is when someone stores up treasure for himself instead of becoming rich in the sight of God.'

James
Chapter 1
THE POOR AND THE RICH

9 It is right that the brother in humble circumstances should glory in being lifted up,

10 and the rich in being brought low. For the rich will last no longer than the wild flower;

11 the scorching sun comes up, and the grass withers, its flower falls, its beauty is lost. It is the same with the rich: in the middle of a busy life, the rich will wither

Psalms
Chapter 9
THANKSGIVING FOR VICTORY PRAYER FOR JUSTICE

8 he will himself judge the world in uprightness, will give a true verdict on the nations.

9 May Yahweh be a stronghold for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble!

10 Those who revere your name can rely on you, you never desert those who seek you, Yahweh.

EFESO 4:17-18  5:15-17 HEBREWS 4"7

HEBREWS 4:7
"KAPAG NARINING NINYO ANG TINIG NG DIYOS, HUWAG MAGING MATIGAS ANG INYONG ULO."
