John
Chapter 15
THE WORLDS HATERED

18
7 "If the world hates you, realize that it hated me first.
19
If you belonged to the world, the world would love its own; but because you do not belong to the world, and I have chosen you out of the world, the world hates you.
20
Remember the word I spoke to you, 8 'No slave is greater than his master.' If they persecuted me, they will also persecute you. If they kept my word, they will also keep yours.
21
And they will do all these things to you on account of my name, 9 because they do not know the one who sent me.
22
If I had not come and spoken 10 to them, they would have no sin; but as it is they have no excuse for their sin.
23
Whoever hates me also hates my Father.
24
If I had not done works among them that no one else ever did, they would not have sin; but as it is, they have seen and hated both me and my Father.
25
But in order that the word written in their law 11 might be fulfilled, 'They hated me without cause.'
26
"When the Advocate comes whom I will send 12 you from the Father, the Spirit of truth that proceeds from the Father, he will testify to me.
27
And you also testify, because you have been with me from the beginning.

John
Chapter 16
THE WORLDS HATERED
1
"I have told you this so that you may not fall away.
2
They will expel you from the synagogues; in fact, the hour 1 is coming when everyone who kills you will think he is offering worship to God.
3
They will do this because they have not known either the Father or me.
4
I have told you this so that when their hour comes you may remember that I told you. 2 "I did not tell you this from the beginning, because I was with you.

John
Chapter 17
THE PRAYER OF JESUS
1
1 2 When Jesus had said this, he raised his eyes to heaven and said, "Father, the hour has come. Give glory to your son, so that your son may glorify you,
2
3 just as you gave him authority over all people, so that he may give eternal life to all you gave him.
3
4 Now this is eternal life, that they should know you, the only true God, and the one whom you sent, Jesus Christ.
4
I glorified you on earth by accomplishing the work that you gave me to do.
5
Now glorify me, Father, with you, with the glory that I had with you before the world began.
6
"I revealed your name 5 to those whom you gave me out of the world. They belonged to you, and you gave them to me, and they have kept your word.
7
Now they know that everything you gave me is from you,
8
because the words you gave to me I have given to them, and they accepted them and truly understood that I came from you, and they have believed that you sent me.
9
I pray for them. I do not pray for the world but for the ones you have given me, because they are yours,
10
and everything of mine is yours and everything of yours is mine, and I have been glorified in them.
11
And now I will no longer be in the world, but they are in the world, while I am coming to you. Holy Father, keep them in your name that you have given me, so that they may be one just as we are.
12
When I was with them I protected them in your name that you gave me, and I guarded them, and none of them was lost except the son of destruction, in order that the scripture might be fulfilled.
13
But now I am coming to you. I speak this in the world so that they may share my joy completely.
14
I gave them your word, and the world hated them, because they do not belong to the world any more than I belong to the world.
15
6 I do not ask that you take them out of the world but that you keep them from the evil one.
16
They do not belong to the world any more than I belong to the world.
17
Consecrate them in the truth. Your word is truth.
18
As you sent me into the world, so I sent them into the world.
19
And I consecrate myself for them, so that they also may be consecrated in truth.
20
"I pray not only for them, but also for those who will believe in me through their word,
21
so that they may all be one, as you, Father, are in me and I in you, that they also may be in us, that the world may believe that you sent me.
22
And I have given them the glory you gave me, so that they may be one, as we are one,
23
I in them and you in me, that they may be brought to perfection as one, that the world may know that you sent me, and that you loved them even as you loved me.
24
Father, they are your gift to me. I wish that where I am 7 they also may be with me, that they may see my glory that you gave me, because you loved me before the foundation of the world.
25
Righteous Father, the world also does not know you, but I know you, and they know that you sent me.
26
I made known to them your name and I will make it known, 8 that the love with which you loved me may be in them and I in them."

1 Peter
Chapter 5
ADVICE TO PRESBYTERS
1
1 So I exhort the presbyters 2 among you, as a fellow presbyter and witness to the sufferings of Christ and one who has a share in the glory to be revealed.
2
Tend the flock of God in your midst, (overseeing) not by constraint but willingly, as God would have it, not for shameful profit but eagerly.
3
Do not lord it over those assigned to you, but be examples to the flock.
4
And when the chief Shepherd is revealed, you will receive the unfading crown of glory. 3
5
4 Likewise, you younger members, 5 be subject to the presbyters. And all of you, clothe yourselves with humility in your dealings with one another, for: "God opposes the proud but bestows favor on the humble."
6
So humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time.
7
Cast all your worries upon him because he cares for you.
8
Be sober and vigilant. Your opponent the devil is prowling around like a roaring lion looking for (someone) to devour.
9
Resist him, steadfast in faith, knowing that your fellow believers throughout the world undergo the same sufferings.
10
The God of all grace who called you to his eternal glory through Christ (Jesus) will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you after you have suffered a little.
11
To him be dominion forever. Amen.
12
I write you this briefly through Silvanus, 6 whom I consider a faithful brother, exhorting you and testifying that this is the true grace of God. Remain firm in it.
13
The chosen one 7 at Babylon sends you greeting, as does Mark, my son.
14
Greet one another with a loving kiss. Peace to all of you who are in Christ.

Galatians
Chapter 5
FREEDOM FOR SERVICE

16
I say, then: live by the Spirit and you will certainly not gratify the desire of the flesh. 13
17
For the flesh has desires against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; these are opposed to each other, so that you may not do what you want.
18
But if you are guided by the Spirit, you are not under the law.
19
14 Now the works of the flesh are obvious: immorality, impurity, licentiousness,
20
idolatry, sorcery, hatreds, rivalry, jealousy, outbursts of fury, acts of selfishness, dissensions, factions,
21
occasions of envy, 15 drinking bouts, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
22
In contrast, the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness,
23
gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.
24
Now those who belong to Christ (Jesus) have crucified their flesh with its passions and desires.
25
If we live in the Spirit, let us also follow the Spirit.
26
Let us not be conceited, provoking one another, envious of one another.

1 Timothy
Chapter 6
EXHORTATIONS TO TIMOTHY

11
5 6 But you, man of God, avoid all this. Instead, pursue righteousness, devotion, faith, love, patience, and gentleness.
12
Compete well for the faith. Lay hold of eternal life, to which you were called when you made the noble confession in the presence of many witnesses.
13
I charge (you) before God, who gives life to all things, and before Christ Jesus, who gave testimony under Pontius Pilate for the noble confession,
14
to keep the commandment without stain or reproach until the appearance of our Lord Jesus Christ
15
that the blessed and only ruler will make manifest at the proper time, the King of kings and Lord of lords,
16
who alone has immortality, who dwells in unapproachable light, and whom no human being has seen or can see. To him be honor and eternal power. Amen.
17
7 Tell the rich in the present age not to be proud and not to rely on so uncertain a thing as wealth but rather on God, who richly provides us with all things for our enjoyment.
18
Tell them to do good, to be rich in good works, to be generous, ready to share,
19
thus accumulating as treasure a good foundation for the future, so as to win the life that is true life.
20
8 O Timothy, guard what has been entrusted to you. Avoid profane babbling and the absurdities of so-called knowledge.
21
By professing it, some people have deviated from the faith. Grace be with all of you.

Philippians
Chapter 2
PLEA FOR UNITY AND HUMILITY
1
1 If there is any encouragement in Christ, any solace in love, any participation in the Spirit, any compassion and mercy,
2
complete my joy by being of the same mind, with the same love, united in heart, thinking one thing.
3
Do nothing out of selfishness or out of vainglory; rather, humbly regard others as more important than yourselves,
4
each looking out not for his own interests, but (also) everyone for those of others.
5
Have among yourselves the same attitude that is also yours in Christ Jesus, 2
6
Who, 3 though he was in the form of God, did not regard equality with God something to be grasped. 4
7
Rather, he emptied himself, taking the form of a slave, coming in human likeness; 5 and found human in appearance,
8
he humbled himself, becoming obedient to death, even death on a cross. 6
9
Because of this, God greatly exalted him and bestowed on him the name 7 that is above every name,
10
that at the name of Jesus every knee should bend, 8 of those in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
11
and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, 9 to the glory of God the Father.

Philippians
Chapter 1
STEADFASTNESS IN FAITH

27
12 Only, conduct yourselves in a way worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that, whether I come and see you or am absent, I may hear news of you, that you are standing firm in one spirit, with one mind struggling together for the faith of the gospel,

Galatians
Chapter 5
THE IMPORTANCE OF FAITH
1
1 2 For freedom Christ set us free; so stand firm and do not submit again to the yoke of slavery.

Psalms
Chapter 65
THANKSGIVING FOR GODS BLESSINGS
1
1 For the leader. A psalm of David. A song.
2
2 To you we owe our hymn of praise, O God on Zion; To you our vows must be fulfilled,
3
3 you who hear our prayers. To you all flesh must come
4
with its burden of wicked deeds. We are overcome by our sins; only you can pardon them.
5
Happy the chosen ones you bring to dwell in your courts. May we be filled with the good things of your house, the blessings of your holy temple!
6
4 You answer us with awesome deeds of justice, O God our savior, The hope of all the ends of the earth and of far distant islands.

FOR OUR SPIRITUAL BELIEF IN LIFE
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

EFESO 4:17-18  5:15-17 HEBREWS 4"7
