MESSAGE OF GOD
"HEAR GOD"
"Sapagkat
Matthew 13:8-9
"Kung mamunga po ito sa darating na taon, mabuti; ngunit kung hindi, putulin na natin!'" Luke 13:9

Chapter 1
Obedience
Chapter 1
Obedience
14Like obedient children, do not act in compliance with the desires of your former ignorance
15but, as he who called you is holy, be holy yourselves in every aspect of your conduct,
16for it is written, “Be holy because I [am] holy.”j
Reverence.
17Now if you invoke as Father him who judges impartially according to each one’s works, conduct yourselves with reverence during the time of your sojourning,
18realizing that you were ransomed from your futile conduct, handed on by your ancestors, not with perishable things like silver or gold
19but with the precious blood of Christm as of a spotless unblemished lamb.* 20He was known before the foundation of the world but revealed in the final time for you,
21who through him believe in God who raised him from the dead and gave him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God.
Mutual Love
22Since you have purified yourselves by obedience to the truth for sincere mutual love, love one another intensely from a [pure] heart.
23You have been born anew,o not from perishable but from imperishable seed, through the living and abiding word of God,
24for:
“All flesh is like grass,
and all its glory like the flower of the field;
the grass withers,
and the flower wilts;p
25but the word of the Lord remains forever.”
Romans
Chapter 10
Righteousness Based on Faith
5 Moses writes about the righteousness that comes from [the] law, “The one who does these things will live by them.
6But the righteousness that comes from faith says, “Do not say in your heart, ‘Who will go up into heaven?’ (that is, to bring Christ down)
7 or ‘Who will go down into the abyss?’ (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead).”
8 But what does it say?
“The word is near you,
in your mouth and in your heart”h
(that is, the word of faith that we preach),
9for, if you confess* with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
10For one believes with the heart and so is justified, and one confesses with the mouth and so is saved.
11For the scripture says, “No one who believes in him will be put to shame.
12For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; the same Lord is Lord of all, enriching all who call upon him.
13For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”l
14* But how can they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how can they believe in him of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone to preach?
15And how can people preach unless they are sent? As it is written,n “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring [the] good news!”
16But not everyone has heeded the good news; for Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed what was heard from us?”
17Thus faith comes from what is heard, and what is heard comes through the word of Christ.
18But I ask, did they not hear? Certainly they did; for
“Their voice has gone forth to all the earth,
and their words to the ends of the world.”q
19But I ask, did not Israel understand?r First Moses says:
“I will make you jealous of those who are not a nation;
with a senseless nation I will make you angry.”
20s Then Isaiah speaks boldly and says:
“I was found [by] those who were not seeking me;
I revealed myself to those who were not asking for me.”
21But regarding Israel he says, “All day long I stretched out my hands to a disobedient and contentious people.”
6But the righteousness that comes from faith says, “Do not say in your heart, ‘Who will go up into heaven?’ (that is, to bring Christ down)
7 or ‘Who will go down into the abyss?’ (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead).”

Chapter 4
Jesus Leaves Capernaum
42 At daybreak, Jesus left and went to a deserted place. The crowds went
looking for him, and when they came to him, they tried to prevent him
from leaving them.
43But he said to them, “To the other towns also I must proclaim the good news of the kingdom of God, because for this purpose I have been sent.”
44And he was preaching in the synagogues of Judea.*
43But he said to them, “To the other towns also I must proclaim the good news of the kingdom of God, because for this purpose I have been sent.”
44And he was preaching in the synagogues of Judea.*
Matthew
Chapter 13
The Parable of the Sower
1 On that day, Jesus went out of the house and sat down by the sea.Chapter 13
The Parable of the Sower
2Such large crowds gathered around him that he got into a boat and sat down, and the whole crowd stood along the shore.
3 And he spoke to them at length in parables,* saying: “A sower went out to sow.
4And as he sowed, some seed fell on the path, and birds came and ate it up.
5Some fell on rocky ground, where it had little soil. It sprang up at once because the soil was not deep,
6and when the sun rose it was scorched, and it withered for lack of roots.
7Some seed fell among thorns, and the thorns grew up and choked it.
8But some seed fell on rich soil, and produced fruit, a hundred or sixty or thirtyfold.
9Whoever has ears ought to hear.”
Luke
Chapter 13
The Parable of the Barren Fig Tree
6c
And he told them this parable: “There once was a person who had a fig
tree planted in his orchard, and when he came in search of fruit on it
but found none,
7he said to the gardener,
‘For three years now I have come in search of fruit on this fig tree but
have found none. [So] cut it down. Why should it exhaust the soil?’
8He said to him in reply, ‘Sir, leave it for this year also, and I shall cultivate the ground around it and fertilize it;
9it may bear fruit in the future. If not you can cut it down.’”
Psalms
Chapter 44
God's Past Favor and Israel Present Need
1 For the leader. A maskil of the Korahites.
2 O God, we have heard with our own ears;
our ancestors have told usaThe deeds you did in their days,
with your own hand in days of old:
3You rooted out nations to plant them,b
crushed peoples and expelled them.
4Not with their own swords did they conquer the land,c
nor did their own arms bring victory;
It was your right hand, your own arm,
the light of your face for you favored them.d
5You are my king and my God,e
who bestows victories on Jacob.
6Through you we batter our foes;
through your name we trample our adversaries.
7Not in my bow do I trust,
nor does my sword bring me victory.
8You have brought us victory over our enemies,
shamed those who hate us.
9In God we have boasted all the day long;
your name we will praise forever.

EFESO 4:17-18 5:15-17 HEBREWS 4"7
17Sa
HEBREWS 4:7
"KAPAG NARINING NINYO ANG TINIG NG DIYOS, HUWAG MAGING MATIGAS ANG INYONG ULO."
