MESSAGE OF GOD
"Ang
pagtitiis ng hirap ay bahagi ng paghirang sa inyo ng Diyos; sapagkat ng
si Cristo ay magtiis para sa inyo; binigyan niya kayo ng halimbawang
dapat tularan." 1Peter 2:21

PARA SA KALIGTASAN AT AWA NG DIYOS"
"MANALIG AT MANALANGIN"
"Tinatawag

Chapter 2:13-17
Chosen for Salvations
13But we ought to give thanks to God for you always, brothers loved by the Lord, because God chose you as the firstfruits* for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in truth.
14To this end he has [also] called you through our gospel to possess the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
15Therefore, brothers, stand firm and hold fast to the traditions that you were taught, either by an oral statement or by a letter of ours.
16May our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who has loved us and given us everlasting encouragement and good hope through his grace,
17encourage your hearts and strengthen them in every good deed and word.
Chapter 1:3-11
Warning against False Doctrine
3
I repeat the request I made of you when I was on my way to Macedonia,
that you stay in Ephesus to instruct certain people not to teach false
doctrines
4 or to concern themselves with myths and endless genealogies, which promote speculations rather than the plan of God that is to be received by faith.
5The aim of this instruction is love from a pure heart, a good conscience, and a sincere faith.
6Some people have deviated from these and turned to meaningless talk,
7wanting to be teachers of the law, but without understanding either what they are saying or what they assert with such assurance.
8 We know that the law is good, provided that one uses it as law,
9with the understanding that law is meant not for a righteous person but for the lawless and unruly, the godless and sinful, the unholy and profane, those who kill their fathers or mothers, murderers,
10the unchaste, sodomites, kidnapers, liars, perjurers, and whatever else is opposed to sound teaching,
11according to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, with which I have been entrusted.i

Luke
Chapter 12:22-34
Dependence on God
22 He said to [his] disciples, “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about
your life and what you will eat, or about your body and what you will
wear.
23For life is more than food and the body more than clothing.
24Notice the ravens:
they do not sow or reap; they have neither storehouse nor barn, yet God
feeds them. How much more important are you than birds!
25Can any of you by worrying add a moment to your life-span?
26If even the smallest things are beyond your control, why are you anxious about the rest?
27Notice how the flowers
grow. They do not toil or spin. But I tell you, not even Solomon in all
his splendor was dressed like one of them.
28If God so clothes the
grass in the field that grows today and is thrown into the oven
tomorrow, will he not much more provide for you, O you of little faith?
29As for you, do not seek what you are to eat and what you are to drink, and do not worry anymore.
30All the nations of the world seek for these things, and your Father knows that you need them.
31Instead, seek his kingdom, and these other things will be given you besides.
32Do not be afraid any longer, little flock, for your Father is pleased to give you the kingdom.
33Sell your belongings and
give alms. Provide money bags for yourselves that do not wear out, an
inexhaustible treasure in heaven that no thief can reach nor moth
destroy.
34For where your treasure is, there also will your heart be.
Luke
Chapter 11:9-13
The Answer to Prayer
9“And I tell you, ask and you will receive; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.
10For everyone who asks, receives; and the one who seeks, finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.
11What father among you would hand his son a snake when he asks for a fish?
12Or hand him a scorpion when he asks for an egg?
13If you then, who are
wicked, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will
the Father in heaven give the holy Spirit to those who ask him?”
1 Timothy
Chapter 6:3-10
Teach and Urge These Things
3Whoever teaches something different and does not agree with the sound words of our Lord Jesus Christ and the religious teaching
4is conceited, understanding nothing, and has a morbid disposition for arguments and verbal disputes. From these come envy, rivalry, insults, evil suspicions,
5and mutual friction among people with corrupted minds, who are deprived of the truth, supposing religion to be a means of gain.
6 Indeed, religion with contentment is a great gain.
7For we brought nothing into the world, just as we shall not be able to take anything out of it.
8If we have food and clothing, we shall be content with that.
9Those who want to be rich are falling into temptation and into a trap and into many foolish and harmful desires, which plunge them into ruin and destruction.
10For the love of money is the root of all evils, and some people in their desire for it have strayed from the faith and have pierced themselves with many pains.

Chapter 4:12-19
Trial of Persecution
12Beloved, do not be surprised that a trial by fire is occurring among you, as if something strange were happening to you.
13But rejoice to the extent that you share in the sufferings of Christ, so that when his glory is revealed you may also rejoice exultantly.
14If you are insulted for the name of Christ, blessed are you, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you.
15But let no one among you be made to suffer as a murderer, a thief, an evildoer, or as an intriguer.
16But whoever is made to suffer as a Christian should not be ashamed but glorify God because of the name.
17For it is time for the judgment to begin with the household of God; if it begins with us, how will it end for those who fail to obey the gospel of God?
18“And if the righteous one is barely saved,
where will the godless and the sinner appear?”
19As a result, those who suffer in accord with God’s will hand their souls over to a faithful creator as they do good.

Chapter 2:18-25
Christian Slaves
18
Slaves, be subject to your masters with all reverence, not only to
those who are good and equitable but also to those who are perverse.
19For whenever anyone bears the pain of unjust suffering because of consciousness of God, that is a grace.
20But what credit is there if you are patient when beaten for doing wrong? But if you are patient when you suffer for doing what is good, this is a grace before God.
21For to this you have been called, because Christ also suffered* for you, leaving you an example that you should follow in his footsteps.
22“He committed no sin,
and no deceit was found in his mouth.”
23When he was insulted, he returned no insult; when he suffered, he did not threaten; instead, he handed himself over to the one who judges justly.
24He himself bore our sins in his body upon the cross, so that, free from sin, we might live for righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed.
25For you had gone astray like sheep,s but you have now returned to the shepherd and guardian of your souls.*

A Prayer in Distress
1A psalm of David.
LORD, hear my prayer;
in your faithfulness listen to my pleading;
answer me in your righteousness.
2Do not enter into judgment with your servant;
before you no one can be just.a

EFESO 4:17-18 5:15-17 HEBREWS 4"7
17Sa
