Mark
Chapter 10

BLESSINGS OF THE  CHILDREN

13
And people were bringing children to him that he might touch them, but the disciples rebuked them.
14
When Jesus saw this he became indignant and said to them, "Let the children come to me; do not prevent them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.
15
Amen, I say to you, whoever does not accept the kingdom of God like a child 2 will not enter it."
16
Then he embraced them and blessed them, placing his hands on them.

Matthew
Chapter 12TREE AND ITS FRUITS

33
"Either declare 23 the tree good and its fruit is good, or declare the tree rotten and its fruit is rotten, for a tree is known by its fruit.
34
24 You brood of vipers, how can you say good things when you are evil? For from the fullness of the heart the mouth speaks.
35
A good person brings forth good out of a store of goodness, but an evil person brings forth evil out of a store of evil.
36
25 I tell you, on the day of judgment people will render an account for every careless word they speak.
37
By your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned."

1 Peter
Chapter 1

MUTUAL LOVE
23
You have been born anew, not from perishable but from imperishable seed, through the living and abiding word of God, 11
24
for: "All flesh is like grass, and all its glory like the flower of the field; the grass withers, and the flower wilts;
25
but the word of the Lord remains forever." This is the word that has been proclaimed to you.

1 Peter
Chapter 2
GODS HOUSE AND PEOPLE
1
1 Rid yourselves of all malice and all deceit, insincerity, envy, and all slander;
2
like newborn infants, long for pure spiritual milk so that through it you may grow into salvation,
3
for you have tasted that the Lord is good. 2

John
Chapter 10

THE GOOD SHEPHERD

7
5 So Jesus said again, "Amen, amen, I say to you, I am the gate for the sheep.
8
6 All who came [before me] are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not listen to them.
9
I am the gate. Whoever enters through me will be saved, and will come in and go out and find pasture.
10
A thief comes only to steal and slaughter and destroy; I came so that they might have life and have it more abundantly.
11
I am the good shepherd. A good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.

2 Thessalonians
Chapter 2

CHRIST AND THE LAWLESS ONE

1
1 We ask you, brothers, with regard to the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our assembling with him,
2
not to be shaken out of your minds suddenly, or to be alarmed either by a "spirit," 2 or by an oral statement, or by a letter allegedly from us to the effect that the day of the Lord is at hand.
3
Let no one deceive you in any way. For unless the apostasy comes first and the lawless one is revealed, 3 the one doomed to perdition,
4
who opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god and object of worship, so as to seat himself in the temple of God, 4 claiming that he is a god--
5
do you not recall that while I was still with you I told you these things?
6
And now you know what is restraining, 5 that he may be revealed in his time.
7
6 For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work. But the one who restrains is to do so only for the present, until he is removed from the scene.
8
And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord (Jesus) will kill with the breath of his mouth and render powerless by the manifestation of his coming,
9
the one whose coming springs from the power of Satan in every mighty deed and in signs and wonders that lie,
10
and in every wicked deceit for those who are perishing because they have not accepted the love of truth so that they may be saved.
11
Therefore, God is sending them a deceiving power so that they may believe the lie,
12
that all who have not believed the truth but have approved wrongdoing may be condemned.

THE WISDOM BOOKS AND PROPHETIC BOOKS

Sirach
Chapter 2

10
Study the generations long past and understand; has anyone hoped in the LORD and been disappointed? Has anyone persevered in his fear and been forsaken? has anyone called upon him and been rebuffed?
11
Compassionate and merciful is the LORD; he forgives sins, he saves in time of trouble.

Sirach
Chapter 3
1
1 Children, pay heed to a father's right; do so that you may live.
2
For the LORD sets a father in honor over his children; a mother's authority he confirms over her sons.
3
He who honors his father atones for sins;
4
he stores up riches who reveres his mother.
5
He who honors his father is gladdened by children, and when he prays he is heard.
6
He who reveres his father will live a long life; he obeys the LORD who brings comfort to his mother.
7
He who fears the LORD honors his father, and serves his parents as rulers.
8
In word and deed honor your father that his blessing may come upon you;
9
For a father's blessing gives a family firm roots, but a mother's curse uproots the growing plant.
10
Glory not in your father's shame, for his shame is no glory to you!
11
His father's honor is a man's glory; disgrace for her children, a mother's shame.
12
My son, take care of your father when he is old; grieve him not as long as he lives.
13
Even if his mind fail, be considerate with him; revile him not in the fullness of your strength.
14
For kindness to a father will not be forgotten, it will serve as a sin offering--it will take lasting root.
15
In time of tribulation it will be recalled to your advantage, like warmth upon frost it will melt away your sins.

FOR OUR SPIRITUAL BELIEF IN LIFE
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

EFESO 4:17-18  5:15-17
