GOD SPOKE THRU JESUS CHRIST HIS SON Hebrews Chapter 1
Chapter 7
- 24
- From that place he went off to the district of Tyre. 8 He entered a house and wanted no one to know about it, but he could not escape notice.
- 25
- Soon a woman whose daughter had an unclean spirit heard about him. She came and fell at his feet.
- 26
- The woman was a Greek, a Syrophoenician by birth, and she begged him to drive the demon out of her daughter.
- 27
- He said to her, "Let the children be fed first. 9 For it is not right to take the food of the children and throw it to the dogs."
- 28
- She replied and said to him, "Lord, even the dogs under the table eat the children's scraps."
- 29
- Then he said to her, "For saying this, you may go. The demon has gone out of your daughter."
- 30
- When the woman went home, she found the child lying in bed and the demon gone.
Chapter 6
- 53
- After making the crossing, they came to land at Gennesaret and tied up there.
- 54
- As they were leaving the boat, people immediately recognized him.
- 55
- They scurried about the surrounding country and began to bring in the sick on mats to wherever they heard he was.
- 56
- Whatever villages or towns or countryside he entered, they laid the sick in the marketplaces and begged him that they might touch only the tassel on his cloak; and as many as touched it were healed.
Chapter 8
- 6
- saying, "Lord, my servant is lying at home paralyzed, suffering dreadfully."
- 7
- He said to him, "I will come and cure him."
- 8
- The centurion said in reply, 6 "Lord, I am not worthy to have you enter under my roof; only say the word and my servant will be healed.
- 9
- For I too am a person subject to authority, with soldiers subject to me. And I say to one, 'Go,' and he goes; and to another, 'Come here,' and he comes; and to my slave, 'Do this,' and he does it."
- 10
- When Jesus heard this, he was amazed and said to those following him, "Amen, I say to you, in no one in Israel 7 have I found such faith.
- 11
- I say to you, 8 many will come from the east and the west, and will recline with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob at the banquet in the kingdom of heaven,
- 12
- but the children of the kingdom will be driven out into the outer darkness, where there will be wailing and grinding of teeth."
- 13
- And Jesus said to the centurion, "You may go; as you have believed, let it be done for you." And at that very hour (his) servant was healed.
Chapter 10
- 40
- "Whoever receives you receives me, 17 and whoever receives me receives the one who sent me.
- 41
- 18 Whoever receives a prophet because he is a prophet will receive a prophet's reward, and whoever receives a righteous man because he is righteous will receive a righteous man's reward.
- 42
- And whoever gives only a cup of cold water to one of these little ones to drink because he is a disciple--amen, I say to you, he will surely not lose his reward."
Chapter 14
THE FEEDING OF THE FIVE THOUSAND
- 13
- 4 When Jesus heard of it, he withdrew in a boat to a deserted place by himself. The crowds heard of this and followed him on foot from their towns.
- 14
- When he disembarked and saw the vast crowd, his heart was moved with pity for them, and he cured their sick.
- 15
- When it was evening, the disciples approached him and said, "This is a deserted place and it is already late; dismiss the crowds so that they can go to the villages and buy food for themselves."
- 16
- (Jesus) said to them, "There is no need for them to go away; give them some food yourselves."
- 17
- But they said to him, "Five loaves and two fish are all we have here."
- 18
- Then he said, "Bring them here to me,"
- 19
- and he ordered the crowds to sit down on the grass. Taking 5 the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, he said the blessing, broke the loaves, and gave them to the disciples, who in turn gave them to the crowds.
- 20
- They all ate and were satisfied, and they picked up the fragments left over 6 --twelve wicker baskets full.
- 21
- Those who ate were about five thousand men, not counting women and children.
Chapter 12
- 22
- He said to (his) disciples, "Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life and what you will eat, or about your body and what you will wear.
- 23
- For life is more than food and the body more than clothing.
- 24
- Notice the ravens: they do not sow or reap; they have neither storehouse nor barn, yet God feeds them. How much more important are you than birds!
- 25
- Can any of you by worrying add a moment to your lifespan?
- 26
- If even the smallest things are beyond your control, why are you anxious about the rest?
- 27
- Notice how the flowers grow. They do not toil or spin. But I tell you, not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of them.
- 28
- If God so clothes the grass in the field that grows today and is thrown into the oven tomorrow, will he not much more provide for you, O you of little faith?
- 29
- As for you, do not seek what you are to eat and what you are to drink, and do not worry anymore.
- 30
- All the nations of the world seek for these things, and your Father knows that you need them.
- 31
- Instead, seek his kingdom, and these other things will be given you besides.
Chapter 1
- 1
- 1 In times past, God spoke in partial and various ways to our ancestors through the prophets;
- 2
- in these last days, he spoke to us through a son, whom he made heir of all things and through whom he created the universe,
- 3
- who is the refulgence of his glory, the very imprint of his being, and who sustains all things by his mighty word. When he had accomplished purification from sins, he took his seat at the right hand of the Majesty on high,
Chapter 35
- 1
- 1 To keep the law is a great oblation, and he who observes the commandments sacrifices a peace offering.
- 2
- 2 In works of charity one offers fine flour, and when he gives alms he presents his sacrifice of praise.
- 3
- To refrain from evil pleases the LORD, and to avoid injustice is an atonement.
- 4
- Appear not before the LORD empty-handed, for all that you offer is in fulfillment of the precepts.
- 5
- The just man's offering enriches the altar and rises as a sweet odor before the Most High.
Chapter 38
- 1
- 1 Hold the physician in honor, for he is essential to you, and God it was who established his profession.
- 2
- From God the doctor has his wisdom, and the king provides for his sustenance.
- 3
- His knowledge makes the doctor distinguished, and gives him access to those in authority.
- 4
- God makes the earth yield healing herbs which the prudent man should not neglect;
- 5
- Was not the water sweetened by a twig that men might learn his power?
- 6
- He endows men with the knowledge to glory in his mighty works,
- 7
- Through which the doctor eases pain and the druggist prepares his medicines;
- 8
- Thus God's creative work continues without cease in its efficacy on the surface of the earth.
- 9
- My son, when you are ill, delay not, but pray to God, who will heal you:
- 10
- Flee wickedness; let your hands be just, cleanse your heart of every sin;
- 11
- Offer your sweet-smelling oblation and petition, a rich offering according to your means.
- 12
- Then give the doctor his place lest he leave; for you need him too.
- 13
- There are times that give him an advantage,
- 14
- and he too beseeches God That his diagnosis may be correct and his treatment bring about a cure.
- 15
- He who is a sinner toward his Maker will be defiant toward the doctor.
FOR OUR SPIRITUAL BELIEF IN LIFE

EFESO 4:17-18 5:15-17
