A Brother Who Sins
1 He said to his disciples, “Things that cause sin will inevitably occur, but woe to the person through whom they occur.
2It would be better for him if a millstone were put around his neck and he be thrown into the sea than for him to cause one of these little ones to sin.
3Be on your guard! If your brother sins, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him.
4And if he wrongs you seven times in one day and returns to you seven times saying, ‘I am sorry,’ you should forgive him.”

46 An argument arose among the disciples about which of them was the greatest.
47Jesus realized the intention of their hearts and took a child and placed it by his side
48and said to them, “Whoever receives this child in my name receives me, and whoever receives me receives the one who sent me. For the one who is least among all of you is the one who is the greatest.”

35 Jesus went around to all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom, and curing every disease and illness.
36 At the sight of the crowds, his heart was moved with pity for them because they were troubled and abandoned,* like sheep without a shepherd.
37 Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is abundant but the laborers are few;
38so ask the master of the harvest to send out laborers for his harvest.”

1Children, obey your parents [in the Lord], for this is right.
2“Honor your father and mother.” This is the first commandment with a promise,
3“that it may go well with you and that you may have a long life on earth.”
4Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up with the training and instruction of the Lord.

5Put to death, then, the parts of you that are earthly: immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and the greed that is idolatry.
6Because of these the wrath of God is coming [upon the disobedient].
7By these you too once conducted yourselves, when you lived in that way.
8But now you must put them all away: anger, fury, malice, slander, and obscene language out of your mouths.
9Stop lying to one another, since you have taken off the old self with its practices
10 and have put on the new self, which is being renewed, for knowledge, in the image of its creator.
11Here there is not Greek and Jew, circumcision and uncircumcision, barbarian, Scythian, slave, free; but Christ is all and in all.
12Put on then, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, heartfelt compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience,
13bearing with one another and forgiving one another, if one has a grievance against another; as the Lord has forgiven you, so must you also do.
14And over all these put on love, that is, the bond of perfection.
15And let the peace of Christ control your hearts, the peace into which you were also called in one body. And be thankful.
16Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, as in all wisdom you teach and admonish one another, singing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God.
17And whatever you do, in word or in deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.

“If your brother sins [against you], go and tell him his fault between
you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have won over your brother.

If he does not listen, take one or two others along with you, so that
‘every fact may be established on the testimony of two or three
witnesses.’
17 If he refuses to listen to them, tell the church.* If he refuses to listen even to the church, then treat him as you would a Gentile or a tax collector.

Amen, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in
heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

Again, [amen,] I say to you, if two of you agree on earth about
anything for which they are to pray, it shall be granted to them by my
heavenly Father.
20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.”

pangalan ng Panginoon, ito ang sinasabi ko sa inyo: huwag na kayong
mamuhay tulad ng pamumuhay ng mga walang pananampalataya sa Diyos.
