Rommel Lopez, one of the organizers stressed that in these trying times the Lord is asking the Filipino people to be united as one in prayer and worship.
“Despite what happened in the Visayas, the Lord is still guiding and protecting us. So this meeting with the youth and our fellow Filipino people is a chance for us to thank the Lord,” Lopez said.
“When we are united, especially now, we are called to be missionaries of love. In this area, we can be an example of love, in reaching out by prayer and offer it to the people who were affected. United as one in prayer, all of us will rock the heavens. God is the one who will also help them rebuild the Churches and the lives of the people there in the Visayas,” he added.
The event is free of registration but interested attendees can bring clothes, money, medicines, and goods for typhoon survivors.
“We will accept all of those and will be given to the Couples for Christ (CFC) global mission to be given directly to those who were greatly affected,” Lopez furthered.
